Identity Management System
The Identity Management System (IMS) is the platform tool responsible for user and application management. The identity management system will provide web administration tools to create users, applications and their relationships. It also provides access to the rest of applications installed for a user.
Users can access the IMS with three different roles:
- Group administrator: This role represents the user that has registered the groups, becoming the system administartor. The role allows him/her to install/uninstall applications, add/remove users to the group, and grant or deny the users access to installed applications.
- Normal user: With this role a user is a member of a group, he/she has an account that has been created by his/her group administartor. The normal user can use the applications his/her group administrator allows him/her. The IMS also lets the normal user configure its personal data.
- Platform owner: This role should represent the person that has installed the platform, and allow him/her administrate all groups, users and applications. This role could be seen as the system administrator.
